Fishing Report 16 May

Today’s Gulf report about 10 NM south of Destin/East Pass is looking solid: SE wind 5–10 kt, seas 1 ft or less, mostly sunny skies, low rip current risk, surf around 1 ft, and mid-70s water temps.

The bite is showing Spanish mackerel, pompano, bonita, kings, whiting, ladyfish, hardtails, jack crevalle, red grouper, vermilion snapper, and mixed bottom fish.

Great day to get out early, troll the beach, fish the pass edges, or check nearshore structure while the Gulf is playing nice.
